Our ASTM E595 outgassing test is performed under a management and technical system assessed by KOLAS, the national laboratory accreditation body of the Republic of Korea, against ISO/IEC 17025 – the international standard for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories.
Accepted across borders through the ILAC MRA. KOLAS is a signatory to the ILAC Mutual Recognition Arrangement. Accredited reports issued within our scope of accreditation are therefore recognized by other ILAC MRA signatories and the organizations that rely on them, so your material data does not need to be re-generated locally for acceptance purposes.
Metrological traceability. The mass, temperature and vacuum measurements used in the test are traceable to national or international measurement standards, with documented measurement uncertainty and periodic internal quality control.
Defined scope of accreditation. Our accreditation covers ASTM E595 outgassing testing. A copy of the current scope of accreditation and the accreditation certificate can be issued on request for your material qualification and supplier-approval records.

Accredited vs. non-accredited reports: Reports issued with the KOLAS accreditation mark are covered by our scope of accreditation. Q. What is ASTM E595 testing?

ASTM E595 is the standard test method for evaluating the outgassing characteristics of materials in a vacuum environment.
